‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past' Director Shuns Public Appearances; Bryan Singer’s Lawyer Claims They Can Prove Rape Victim’s Accusations Are False!

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" director Bryan Singer is shunning all public appearances as his lawyer expressed confidence they can prove the alleged rape victim's accusations are false.

The first casualty is the WonderCon where the "X-Men" director was scheduled to participate and talk to the press for two hours on Saturday in order to promote Bryan Singer's new film "X-Men: Days of Future Past." The report was confirmed by Fox's digital PR team.

Instead, producer Simon Kinberg will take his place and do the press interviews and promotions, Buzzfeed said.

Earlier, Fox studio released a statement neither supporting nor condemning the director. The statement said that the allegations leveled against Bryan Singer were "serious" but it's a personal matter separate from the "X-Men: Days of Future Past" which will be resolved "in the appropriate forum."

Meanwhile, the lawyer for the "X-Men: Days of Future Pat" director claimed that Bryan Singer was not in Hawaii when the alleged rape took place.

Attorney Marty Singer told Hollywood Reporter: "Any person who claims to be a witness to Bryan Singer being in Hawaii with Michael Egan is a bold face liar."

"My client was never with Mr. Egan in Hawaii during the time period alleged or at any other time," he added. "We have documentary evidence that proves Bryan wasn't there. Documents don't lie, people lie."

The lawyer then enumerated the list of evidence they will present to the court including telephone records, schedules and credit card receipts providing that he was in Toronto working on the first "X-Men" when the alleged sexual abuses took place.

On Thursday, Michael Egan III accused "X-Men: Days of Future Past" director Bryan Singer and many others of sexually abusing him in Los Angeles and Hawaii. The former child model claimed that he was forced at gunpoint and coerced with different drugs and also luring him a part in the "X-Men" movie.
