Who Ranks This Week in the K-Pop Hot 100

Billboard featured an article regarding which stars ranks on the K-Pop Hot 100 this week.

Topping the charts at number one is Park Hyo Shin for his single, "Wild Flower." Park had to do his mandatory military and faced a ugly contract dispute with his agency; though with all this, Park is back and on top.

Ranking below him at number two are the adorable ladies of A Pink. Their song, "Mr. Chu," is cute and colorful that fans just cannot get enough of them.

Number three is the veteran singer, Lee Sun Hee, for her song, "Meet Him Among Them." Rapper Mad Clown and SISTAR's Hyorin, ranks number five for their single, "Without You." The song is about a tough break up and how a person goes through it. Crayon Pop's single, "Uh-ee," ranks number ten as they bring numerous energy to all their singles.

4Minute and Their Music Game

News media Siliconera featured an article about female group 4Minute and how the girls have a music rhythm game that is named, 'Club M Star.' The game is addicting as the person playing it learns the choreography of their song, "Whatcha Doin' Today?" Points are awarded if you hit the correct buttons or direction key when both the outer and inner circles sync.  

LA Gets Invaded as K-Pop Idols Attend the K-Pop Festival

The Los Angeles Times featured an article regarding the LA K-Pop Music Festival. Sixty thousand K-Pop fans attended the event and screamed while watching their favorite idols perform. The event was held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum last Saturday. Idols that attended the event were Girl's Day, SHINee, and 2PM to name a few. Were you one of the people who attended the event? Stars Pay Their Respects for the Passengers Onboard the Ferry Tragedy

The Wall Street Journal featured an article regarding how the stars are praying and grieving for the incident that occurred this week. The entertainment industry as halted all music shows, variety shows, events, and comebacks. South Korea is deeply sad as news keeps coming about the passengers.

Block B Released Their New Single, "Jackpot"

The Straits Times featured an article regarding male group Block B. The guys released their new single, "Jackpot." The music video shows a crazy and fun circus as the guys sing. "Jackpot" is an electro and hip-hop song. Including this, there are rhythmic rapping and lively vocals as well. "Jackpot" will show you lots of entertainment which is definitely going to keep you entertained.

In the music video, the guys wear clown masks and sport crazy hairdos. There is also a little girl who is played by Korean actress, Kim Sae Ron. The song does some things that K-Pop has not done; which is flipping someone off. You can watch the music video below.

Akdong Musician Ranks Number One This Week

The siblings Akdong Musician were featured on news media Popdust as they are ranked number one on the charts this week. The single, "200%," is a fan favorite as they are loving the cute siblings sing about teenage first time love.

Number two is rookie male group High4 for their single, "Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms." With the help of IU and the song being perfect for spring, this song is great. A Pink's single, "Mr. Chu," ranks number seven this week.

Lizzy, Nana, and Raina of Orange Caramel ranks number nineteen this week for their single, "Catallena." This is a huge drop for them as the girls were ranked number six last week. Crayon Pop and their single, "Uh-ee" ranks number twenty-four.

As for 4Minute, they are behind the ladies as they rank number twenty-fifth. Other stars are Jay Park's new single, "Metronome" being ranked number twenty-eighth and Eric Nam number fifty-seven for his single, "Ooh Ooh."

2NE1 Looks Great As They Are in the May Issue of 'Nylon Korea'

News media Popdust featured an article regarding female group 2NE1. The ladies are going to be featured on the May issue of Nylon Korea because of their fashion and style.

The article also explained that Nylon co-founder and current editor in-chief Marvin Scott Jarrett are also going to feature Girls' Generation's Jessica and f(x)'s Krystal as well. These girls are going to be featured in both the Korean and American issue next month.

This is great that the magazine is now getting K-Pop recognized in the United States. So, be sure to take a look at the upcoming magazine next month.
