Stars are taking action to help out the sunken ferry by donating.

On April 19, actor Song Seung Hun donated $100,000 and the baseball player Ryu Hyun Jin soon followed and also donated $100,000. Actress Ha Ji Won and the figure skating queen Kim Yuna also donated the same amount.

Actors Jung Il Woo and Joo Sang Wook donated $30,000 and other actors also donated about $10,000. The cast of a drama decided to take the budget from their farewell party to donate that instead to the cause, totaling to about $4,000.

Other stars have been helping through UNICEF, Hope Bridge, and other non-profit organizations. They comforted the family members of the victims by saying, "We pray for a miracle."

The sunken ferry where hundreds of people are missing has already entered its 6th day of sinking, bringing both sadness and anger to people all over the nation.
