Dasom became the main character of a musical as a back-up.

In KBS1 drama "Melody of Love" aired today, the cast going up on stage for a musical was shown.

Deul Im (Dasom) was asked to go up on stage instead of Nari, but she said, "I'm so nervous and scared." But she gets encouraged by Hyun Woo and decides to go up. The musical goes well and everyone complimented her.

She said, "Am I dreaming?," not being able to hide her happiness.

Dasom made her debut as a member of Sistar on KBS Music Bank with their debut single, "Push Push." Sistar has released 2 full albums and 2 EPs total.

Dasom appeared in the music video for boy band VIXX's new song, "Rock Ur Body" which was released in 2012. She also appeared in K.Will's music video for the song, "Please Don't..." which was released on October 10, 2012, and also in the music video for "Love Blossom." 

In 2012, Dasom made her acting debut through KBS2 TV's daily sitcom, "Shut Up and Family," as a high school punk. Her role in "Shut Up and Family" consists of a proud, straight-A student that turns sweet but fierce in front of her friends.

She was chosen as one of the MC's for the Golden Disc Awards in 2013, which was hosted in Malaysia.

In September 213, Dasom was confirmed for the lead role of new KBS drama, "Melody of Love." Dasom played the role of Gong Deul Im who is an aspiring musical actress. "Melody of Love," directed by PD Lee Duk Gun and written by Hong Young Hee, centers around three families who grow as people as they reflect on the pain they have caused others and come to the realization about how lucky they are to have one another.
