‘Radio Star’ Cancels Recording

MBC's "Golden Fishery - Radio Star" cancelled its recording.

On April 22nd one MBC rep stated, "'Radio Star' recordings take place every Wednesday, but on the 23rd they will not be holding a shoot."

Regarding the scheduled April 23rd broadcast, the rep also stated, "It's currently on the schedule for broadcast, but that's likely to change. There's a chance that it will be cancelled as well."

MBC has been airing 'newsflash' programs ever since the extremely unfortunate Sewol ferry accident. On the 21st, they resumed regular programming of dramas such as "Everything Kimchi", "Shining Romance", and "Empress Ki".

However, as of this time when the whole nation is mourning the ferry accident, broadcast officials agree that entertainment shows will not be aired for the time being. When the Cheonan incident occurred in 2010, all broadcast entertainment programs were cancelled for about a month.
