Group 2AM Mourns For Ferry Incident During Japan Concert

It has just now been revealed that group 2AM showed mourning for the ferry incident during their Japan concert.

On April 23, Japan media revealed that on April 20 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall, 2AM held their 'LIVE ARCH vol. 10' concert.

'Live Arch' is an event that was made specifically to spread and expand Asia's entertainment.

Media stated that 2AM sang 11 of their hit songs and received much praise from the fans.

2AM also mourned for the ferry incident during the concert as well.

Leader Jo Kwon commented during the concert, "We hope that everyone here can also pray for the ferry incident. Our hearts are in such pain," as he showed his grief for the tragedy along with the group's fans.

Even before the concert, members of 2AM have been expressing the immense pain that the citizens of South Korea have been going through.

2AM's Lim Seulong tweeted on April 21, "The country too ... Let's work hard and correctly even from the small things."

Fellow 2AM member Jo Kwon tweeted on April 20, "Right now, as grief and resentment grows/ The captain, who let go of responsibilities/ the government, who needs to embrace the families/ the press, who need to become unbiased/ netizens, some of who have become thoughless/ People are first. It's so easy, but I guess it's hard. As someone whose job is to always find a balance in emotions, my heart is also in low spirits."

Members of various K-pop groups have been expressing their disappointment in how the tragedy is being handled.

2PM's Taecyeon tweeted, "All those people who made up all those lies and rumors aren't even human."

2PM member Chansung wrote, "Incidents can occur. However, the handling of these incidents shows us our society. Through one incident, we can see what kind of environment we're in, and that [incident] is something that isn't just somebody else's but something that could easily happen to us."

He added, "I think society is ill right now. It's sad and unfortunate... After the accident, I've been in low spirits. It's not just because of the accident, but because of all the wicked acts and unconfirmed truths that have been circulating after the accident that have stabbed the hearts of those in pain, mkaing my heart hurt even more."

Chansung concluded with, "Those kinds of people... I hope they hurt as much as the pain they caused."

Idols have begun donating to the Yellow Ribbon Campaign that has been spreading in South Korea through SNS and Kakao accounts, reports 24-7kpop.

The campaign photo, a black ribbon against a yellow background with the words "one small movement for a big miracle," has been made into the profile pictures of many in South Korea.

Idols who are part of the campaign include Park Kwang Hyun, Hye Park, Bada, Kim Chang Ryul as well as 2AM's Jo Kwon.
