American Horror Story Season 4 'Freak Show' Collector In Denis O'Hare [SPOILERS]: Salem Premiere Inferior To 'Coven,' Says Critics

As the "American Horror Story" cast for season 4 "Freak Show" continues to unravel, spoilers regarding the cast have surfaced.

According to Vulture, actor Denis O'Hare will return for "American Horror Story" season 4, and he will battle it out with veteran cast member Jessica Lange.

"I'm going to be working at cross-purposes with her. We're going to be like this," said O'Hare as he crossed his fingers. "We'll have lots of scenes with each other, but we'll be battling."

Spoilers confirm that O'Hare will play a character who is a "collector of freaks."

While we know that Lange's character will portray a German expatriate who is "managing one of the last freak show in the U.S.," very little is known about what cast members like Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, and Frances Conroy will do as a part of the freak show.

Could O'Hare's character be trying to steal cast members away from Lange's freak show on "American Horror Story" season 4?

Meanwhile, WGN America's "Salem" has just premiered last weekend, and a lot of comparison is being made between the series and "American Horror Story."

"Despite solid acting and striking visual effects, the pilot is 'American Horror Story' lite," wrote EW contributor Jeff Jensen.

"The tone is a work in progress: On the cable universe continuum, it’s roaming somewhere between Starz camp and AMC self-serious. There’s story and emotion here, but I’m not sure how much or how potent."
