Baechigi Releases “Mirage”, Soundtrack of Drama “Three Days”

SBS drama "Three Days"' ending track "Mirage", sung by hip-hop duo Baechigi, was released on April 23.

Requests for the ending track release had flooded the drama websites and community boards; the track was released through online music stores today. "Mirage" was first aired in the first episode of the drama, capturing all ears of music fans.

The whistling sounds, heavy beats, and Baechigi's fast-flowing rap are considered the highlights of the song. Instead of using a electronic sound, "Mirage" employs a old-school beat and an acoustic guitar sound.

Meanwhile, the soundtrack for "Three Days" has been sung by Jung Eung Ji, Shin Yong Je, and Gummy; Baechigi's "Mirage" was released today in two versions: digital single version and the ending title version.

Baechigi is Korean hip hop duo formed in 2005. Baechigi is known for its upbeat and comedic songs and content. The duo are popular for their unique rapping such as blending in both traditional elements and mixing in traditional Korean musical instruments in their songs. They also mix in smooth vocals to make the songs more upbeat. Baechigi is composed of one rapper and one vocalist, Mu Woong and Tak, respectively.

Baechigi became famous during a South Korean hip hop audition show, "Show Me the Money (Season 2)". Famous underground rapper, MC Meta, and a famous producer, Lee Hyun Do, were leaders of two separate crews among the participants, and hosted battles between them with their rapping skill.

"Three Days" is a SBS TV drama that tells a story about a president who becomes missing during a vacation, with his body guards looking for clues to find him. 

For its original sound track, Lim Chang Jung's "Goodbye," Jung Eun Ji's "It's You," Shin Yong Jae's "I Love You, I Erase You, and I Cry Again," and Gummi's "You're Calling Me" appeared in this album.
