100%'s 'Phone' MV Gives Fans A Glimpse Of K-Pop Idol Life With Special Backstage Footage Of The Group [Review]

Idol Group 100% has surprised fans with the release of a music video for their song "Phone."

The music video was released on April 28 in Korea. It features footage from the group's most recent promotional period, when they promoted the song "Beat."

"Phone" is a soft ballad that portrays the emotions of someone who was broken up with over the phone. Although the breakup may be a good thing, it's heartbreaking and hard; the narrator finds it difficult to ignore his phone alone, because he wants it to ring again.

The song prominently displays the talent of 100%'s vocal-line members, Rokhyun, Jonghwan, and Hyukjin.

While the song is very soft, the video portrays many different sides of 100% throughout the group's latest promotions. The concept for "Beat" was very powerful and featured a Frankenstein-like concept, so the switch to "Phone" is a nice change.

The video shows 100% while filming the music video for 'Beat' and has them performing "Phone" on a fog-filled stage. They also play around with their fans at their fanmeet.

Along with their public activities, "Phone" displays some behind the scenes clips of 100%. The group is scene working extremely hard, collapsing with exhaustion at some points.
