SISTAR's Bora Attends Press Conference For 'Doctor Stranger' And Explains What It Is Like Acting

SISTAR's Bora has also jumped on the acting bandwagon as she will be on the upcoming SBS drama series, 'Doctor Stranger.' On April 29th, she attended the press conference and explained what it is like acting; rather than singing. Bora said, "I am working hard so that I do not cause the other actors any trouble."

For the drama series, Bora is going to be working alongside Lee Jong Suk. Bora explained what it is like to work with him as she said, "There are still a lot of things I don't know when it comes to acting and there are difficult aspects, but I feel comfortable because I keep asking Lee Jong Suk questions and act while we converse. Just watching Lee Jong Suk teaches me a lot. I am really learning a lot, from every gaze to every behavior."

Including the acting that she needs to learn, Bora is also studying the dialect for the North Korean language because she is going to be speaking it on the drama. She explained, "North Korean dialect is extremely difficult. I am studying and trying hard while watching movies, so that I now have some fun speaking in the North Korean dialect when filming. I prepared bit by bit for acting while promoting as a singer. There is also a comforting aspect in that I do not have a big role in 'Doctor Stranger.'"

Bora's role on the drama series will be a hard working North Korean woman whose name is Lee Chan Lee. Her mission for the series is to move her mother to South Korea. The PD explained why Bora fits the role perfectly as he said, "To be honest, I had a selfish motive when I cast SISTAR's Bora. I'm personally a huge fan of SISTAR."

The drama will initiate on May 5th.
