Victoria as Bag Carrier for Chinese Version of “Grandpas Over Flowers”

Fans of f(x) member Victoria will be happy to know that she'll be showcasing her acting skills on an international platform. 

Victoria will be taking on the role of a 'porter angel' who will accompnay the actors on their journey for the Chinese version of popular TV program "Grandpas Over Flowers," according to Allkpop. 

The pop singer's agency, SM Entertainment, confirmed the reports, stating, "She [Victoria] will have a similar role to what Sunny had on the Korean 'Grandpas Over Flowers.'"

It has been confirmed that Victoria will only be a guest on the show seeing as she will be assuming the role of Sunny, a temporary part in the show. 

On April 30, China's Eastern Satellite TV station announced that they have bought the copyrights to CJ E&M's "Grandpas Over Flowers" and have outlined its cast.

Eastern TV stated that four senior actors have already confirmed their appearance on the show. 

Previously, the Eastern TV station held their press conference on April 10 in Shanghai and signaled the start of the TV production.

Producer Na Young Seok and the Korean staff will be involved in the earlier stages of the production.

Another member of f(x) has been attempting to branch out beyond their music career, despite the group's success. 

f(x)'s Krystal is set to star in the new program "Jessica & Krystal" with Girl's Generation's Jessica, reports Yahoo Entertainment Singapore. 

f(x) had gained initially gained attention in the K-Pop industry for showcasing its diverse cast. 

The multi-national group consists of Chinese leader Victoria, Taiwanese-American member Amber, Korean-American member Krystal and Korean members Luna and Sulli. 

The five-member girl group, who came onto the K-Pop scene in 2009, recently proved their talen tin the music industry alongside Super Junior by winning the Best Foreign Perfomrance Award at the Top Chinese Music Awards.
