EXO 'Overdose' Music Video Gets Leaked Online By French Website Dailymotion [VIDEO]
Despite the promotional delays for EXO, the Korean and Chinese version of the music video for the group's video "Overdose" has been published online by the French video sharing website Dailymotion.
Earlier in April, SM Entertainment delayed EXO's planned comeback with the release of "Overdose" out of respect for the victims and families of the South Korea ferry tragedy.
"After learning of the sinking ship incident that happened on April 16, all of SM Entertainment's artists, executives, and SM family are struck with grief and sympathy," read an official statement from SM Entertainment.
"After discussing the schedule for EXO's music release, album release, and future promotions in the country, SM Entertainment decided to tentatively delay the release of mini-album 'Overdose,' which was planned for April 21."
"We ask for understanding from the fans who'd been awaiting the music as this decision resulted from our desire for the safe return of the passengers and condolences for the victims," the label statement added. "We thank the fans for their great interest in new mini-album 'Overdose' and will later on announce the release date once it's been confirmed."
SM Entertainment has yet to announcement a new comeback date for EXO.
Earlier in the month, EXO's single was also leaked online, in a practice video reportedly shot for the Korean cable music program "Music Core."
"We have officially filed for criminal prosecution charges for copyright violations as well as a breach in the Prevention of Unfair Competition and trade secret protection laws at the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office," the SM statement read.
"Regarding strict legal liabilities, we will be dealing these cybercrimes in a strong and firm way. We are also preparing for other additional civil suits for all possible situations."
