Jennette McCurdy Leaked Pictures 2014: Nickelodeon's hit show "Sam and Cat" has not been canceled for good in spite of media reports. Jennette McCurdy, iCarly star's "naked" selfies might not be the reason Sam and Cat was cancelled, but it could have been a full frontal, well, semi frontal, assault on the Nickelodeon. The iCarly star's pictures weren't naked, actually, but they were adult enough to have the media speculate that Jennette McCurdy leaked them to get attention at least.

"Sam and Cat" will not be renewed and reports are speculating that it's because of Jennette McCurdy iCarly star's leaked "naked: selfies. Jennette McCurdy is striking another pose for BCBG Generation apparel. There has been plenty of drama coming from Jennette McCurdy and her alleged actions. 

Au.ibtimes.com reported that Jennette McCurdy's half-naked selfies may have been the reason. In spite of speculation that racy photos of Sam & Cat star Jennette McCurdy were behind the hiatus of the show, a network rep says that the two are unrelated.

"Sam & Cat" co-star Ariana Grande told  99.7's Fernando and Greg "It was hot. Who cares? When I saw those pictures come out, It was on Perez [perezhilton.com] or 
something. I was like - it was so funny because I should have been shocked - but I was like 'Work! OK Work." 

Deadline reported that there was discord on the Sam & Cat set. McCurdy and Grande sometimes showedup late. 

SiriusXM radio personality Cristina Palumbo says McCurdy's naked selfies could even help her career, "Every star that has done this has been handsomely rewarded in the long run as far as fame is concerned. It can't hurt her. I don't think anything can hurt you nowadays. Ken Shaford agreed "It's a good way for a young star to transition into being seen as a more adult star."

Sam and Cat is one of Nickelodeon's highest rated series, but because of its popularity, producers added another 20 episodes. 

Sam and Cat tells the stories of Sam Puckett (played by Jennette McCurdy) and Cat Valentine (played by Ariana Grande), roommates who run a babysitting service.

The two characters were taken from previous Nick shows, iCarly and Victorious.

The pictures of McCurdy leaked just before the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.

Jennette McCurdy didn't show up for at The Kids Choice Awards while Ariana Grande, who has been flying high with a solo music career, nabbed the Kids' Choice Award for Favorite TV Actress, while "Sam & Cat" picked up the award for Favorite TV Show. Immediately there rumors that Grande and McCurdy  were involved in a feud.McCurdy said she didn't go to the awards because Nickelodeon was not treating her well. Andre Drummond even got into a Twitter fight with one of McCurdy's angry iCarly fans.

She took to Twitter to say, "I was put in an uncomfortable, compromising, unfair situation (many of you have guessed what it is) and I had to look out for me. I chose to not go because sticking up for what is right and what is fair is what my mom taught me is ALWAYS the most important thing. I want to thank those of you who have reached out with kind words of support, McCurdians and Arianators alike. No matter who or what you support, I believe in supporting fairness first."
