Girls' Generation member Sunny was recently confirmed to be the new DJ of MBC FM4U's "FM Date".

On May 5, MBC radio stated: "Sunny will be joining us as the new DJ of "FM Date" starting on May 12. She will comfort listeners going home from work through her soft voice and delightful presence".

Sunny expressed her joy, stating: "I grew up listening to the radio because of my older sisters. I still enjoy listening to the radio when I travel in the car. I was always looking for opportunities to interact and communicate with the public, and I'm thrilled that I'm given the chance".

Sunny had previously starred on "Lee Un, Kim Shin Young's Shim Shim Ta Pa" as the program's permanent guest, and had hosted a DMB radio program with Super Junior's Sungmin.

In "FM Date" hosted by DJ Sunny, comedian An Young Mi will also star as its permanent member. Actor Park Keun Hyung, who traveled with Sunny during "Grandpas over Flowers"' Taiwan trip, has also promised to appear on the show.

Internet users exclaimed: "I can't wait for the new show!", "I'm so happy Sunny will be joining".
