Asus PadFone: Ever thought of an all-in-one device where you can have a smartphone, a tablet and a laptop at the same time? Well, Asus thought exactly the same thing a couple of years ago and launched its PadFone with a laptop dock function. 

Unfortunately, for some reason the Taiwanese manufacturer dropped the laptop functionality. 

However, in a recent report by GSM Arena, it looks like Asus will bring back this feature once more. 

In a leaked document in the FCC, it shows an 'ASUS Mobile Dock Keyboard' that can connect to the Padfone through Bluetooth. 

This means that the current Asus PadFone devices can now have three transformations - one for the smartphone, then with the tablet dock, and lastly with the keyboard dock. 

Unfortunately, the keyboard dock does not have an extended battery to further improve the battery juice of the device. Instead, it only has a 450mAh battery pack to power its own tasks and features (Bluetooth connectivity and keyboard functions). 

Another downside of the device is that it does not have an extended storage either. As a result, consumers should still get a flash drive or portable hard drive in order to expand the storage of their Asus PadFone. 

While the keyboard dock for the Asus PadFone does not provide any real innovation or revolutionary features, at least it provides something for the consumers to choose from. 

For people who love to use their devices outside such as coffee shops, restaurants, and other places, it is good to know that you can sit back, relax and use your smartphone as a tablet or laptop.
