Actor Ji Hyun Woo has finally been discharged from the army after serving 21 months.

On May 6, Ji Hyun Woo was released from the army after first entering in August of 2012.

Fans from Korea, China and Japan attended his discharge ceremony and congratulated him on serving the country.

Many fans arrived early in the morning in order to attend this special discharge fan meeting.

After the meeting, Ji Hyun Woo was seen saying his last goodbyes to the others that were discharged that day as well.

"Thanks to all my fellow soldiers, commanders and cadets, I was able to finish my military service without any problems. I will quickly get resituated and greet you with a good image soon," stated Ji, according to Inside Korea. 

He also stated that he hopes to find a new production to work on soon so he can greet his fans on screen again.

The biggest question that fans seem to have is in regards to his romantic relationship with actress Yoo In-na, who noticeably did not show up to the discharge event. 

When asked whether the couple had split, Ji stated, "That question is a bit... tough to answer."

The couple reporteldy met on the set of the historical drama "Queen In-hyun's Man" back in 2012. 

Yoo In-na's agency, YG entertainment, shut down rumors that the two had separated. 

According to Allkpop, a rep for her agency told several media outlets, "Yoo In-na has various schedules including a narration for a documentary so she couldn't make it to the site of Ji Hyun Woo's discharge... Due to her movie filming, Yoo In-na is going back and forth between Korea and China."

The rep added, "She returns to Korea from China on the 5th and is busy with her domestic schedule... Although she wasn't able to attend Ji Hyun Woo's event, the two are still dating fondly."

Ji Hyun Woo is considering being a part of channel KBS 2TV's new drama, "Trot Lover," according to Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.
