iWatch Rumors: Apple's Wearable Device Tipped To Be A Health And Fitness Services Powerhouse, Work With Related Apps From App Store

iWatch rumors: The first time we have ever heard anything about Apple releasing a smartwatch was two years ago. Sony has already released two versions of its Sony Smartwatch, and Samsung has already launched several more from its Galaxy Gear lineup, but still no official word from Apple about its iWatch.

But in a new report by BGR, it looks like Apple would not be focusing on mobile functions anymore but in the fitness and health department.

Several days ago, 9to5mac has leaked Apple's Healthbook app that is capable of receiving data from the iPhone's sensors as well as third party apps and devices. Placing this app with the iWatch, Apple would be developing a dealy combination that will aim at the heart of the health-conscious market.

In addition, this device will mainly be focused on health services and fitness, something that even Samsung failed to execute well when it announced the health-related capabilities of its latest smartphones and wearables.

To further cement proof that Apple is really moving in that direction, the report also mentioned that the Cupertino company has been hiring executives from different medical technology companies in order to come up with the best health and fitness device.

Through the years, we have known Apple to be the company that does not take drastic and quick actions. Instead, it plans its devices sufficiently, sometimes even lasting for years. But in return, the company has time and again been able to launch revolutionary devices which continue to change the face of the mobile and tech industry.

So, are you looking forward toward Apple's first ever wearable device?
