PSY To Feature Korean Rap In Latin Pop Singer Jencarlos Canela's New Album

Singer Psy will be featured in Latin Pop singer Jencarlos Canela's new album.

On May 7, U.S. Billboard released an article and interview with Canela about his new album titled "Jen."

During the interview, Jencarlos revealed that he would be collaborating with Psy for the upcoming album.

Canela, who usually performs both English and Spanish songs, stated that, this time, he would be incorporating Korean into his music.

"There actually is Korean in this album as well. No one sees it coming... I have a feature with Psy, the singer from 'Gangnam Style,' on the album, and it's called 'Give It Up.' The song is a cover of KC and the Sunshine Band. And KC is actually on the song with us as well," Canela told Billboard.

You can listen to Psy's Korean rap in the song through the "Give It Up Tonight" video on YouTube.

Psy reportedly just finished his new LP, which has rumored collaborations with Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg and Steven Tyler.

Psy, also known as the K-Pop king, initially gained international attention with his music video for "Gangnam Style," which got him a spot on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" along with many other U.S. appearances.

"Gentleman," his single following "Gangnam Style" was a Top 5 Billboard Hot 100 hit while it became YouTube's most viewed clip in 2013.

"Gangnam Style," "Gentleman" and the singer's 2010 Korean single "Right Now," all made the list of the Top 10 biggest-selling K-Pop songs of 2013.

Psy will be attending the "Now Festival 2014" in Seoul along with Big Bang, 2NE1 and Lady Gaga.

The Chosun Ilbo has reported that the event will take place at Jamsil Olympic Stadium on August 15 and 16.

Psy is set to be the closing act on the first day while Gaga will be the last performer on the second day.
