KARA Is Making A Comeback This Month And Initiates 'Kara Project' To Find New Replacements

When Nicole and Jiyoung left female group Kara, fans thought it was the end for the dynamic girls. Nicole, who recently went to the United States to study, is back in Korea and pursuing a career as a solo artist. While Jiyoung is focusing on her English language studies in London and pursuing a career as an actress. The other girls, Park Gyu-ri, Han Seung-yeon, and Goo Hara, are making their comeback this month.

Last Monday, their agency DSP Media announced that the group is looking to make Kara once again a five member female group to replace the former members Nicole and Jiyoung. So, what the agency will do to find replacements is hold a TV audition program titled, 'Kara Project.'

The TV audition program is going to be a mini-series and will have a total of six documentary episodes. Kara fans will watch six episodes of audition battles for seven DSP Media trainees who will show their talent to prove that they can be part of this awesome female group.

While Kara fans wait for the first episode to air on MBC Music on May 27th, Park Gyu-ri, Han Seung-yeon, and Goo Hara will hold a fan meeting on May 24th.

This fan meeting is going to be their first official promotion after five months and are expecting 1,000 fans to attend this seventy minute event. The name of this fan meeting event is '2014 Kamilia Day Fan Meeting' and will be at the Blue Square's Samsung Card Hall in Seoul. Ticket sales has been open since May 9th thru May 16th and all the profits collected will go to the people who really need it. The girls has yet to make their official comeback with a new single and already, are holding some important fan signing events.

According to Yonhap News, the girls will travel to Tokyo, Japan and will hold a fan meeting event to thank their fans there. The details of the two events will be made public on both Kara's official Japanese and Korean websites, according to DSP Media.

The reason why Park Gyu-ri, Han Seung-yeon, and Goo Hara are holding this two fan signing events is because they want to tell their fans in South Korea and Japan what they will do next in the upcoming future and activities that they have planned for their fans.

Finally, Park Gyu-ri apologized to the Kara fans as she tweeted on May 12th. She said:

"Our Kamilias are always getting hurt. I’m sorry.

Things I want to say. Things I want to clear up. Things I want to say in comfort. There are so many of them, but it’s not easy to solve everything through text. Once again, that meaning got retranslated and became another scar, making it hard for my people. Although I’m not always in the position to simply say things, putting celebrity status aside, I’m very sorry for all the things that became a pain to everyone who cherished us.

There were a lot of hurtful words saying it’s Kara’s way of staying alive, a lack of confidence, and more but I’ll show you that this is different from what you are all thinking about. That’s something we must do. It’s nothing like that.

I’m just sorry for making you hurt right now. I’m sorry. I hope that the rest of this day will be good."

Are you looking forward to Kara's return this month?
