As the 2014 E3 convention approaches, a new rumor surrounding the alleged Pokemon game Pokken Fighters has surfaced.

First posted on NeoGAF, a document showcasing the alleged list of playable demos at E3 listed the game Pokken Fighters alongside other Nintendo titles like Bayonetta 2, Castlevanis: Symphony of the Night 2, and The Legend of Zelda: Shard of Nightmare.

According to Serebii, The Pokemon Company recently filed trademarks for Pokken Fighters and Pokken Tournament in Europe. On August 20, 2013, the same trademarks were filed in North America.

Many fan sites like PokeJungle believe Pokken Fighters could be a Tekken-style Wii U game with Namco Bandai potentially involved in the development process.

So far, opinions on this alleged document are very divided. Of course, Pokemon fans want a new Pokemon alongside other announcements like Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire and The Band of Thieves & 1000 Pokemon.

But other are less convinced.

"The Legend of Zelda: Shard of Nightmare is also a pretty nonsensical title for a game and I doubt there's any credence behind it," says Simkenno on PokeJungle.

Only time will tell if this document will hold true once E3 begins, but with the trademarks, it appears Pokken Fighters will appear at some point or another.
