SECRET's Hyosung had kept fans anticipating the new image that she would be debuting with for her solo album. It's clear that fans wholeheartedly approve of Hyosung's new music and changed image.

Hyosung's first solo album topped Japan's Tower Record K-Pop Weekly Single chart.

TS Entertainment has revealed that the SECRET member's album, "TOP SECRET," had ranked No. 1 in sales for the week of April 12-18.

The singer upstaged B.A.P, who ranked No. 3 and No. 6 on the chart. Both B.A.P and Hyosung are under the same label.

The idol member's solo album has been doing very well in Korea, ranking at No. 5 in sales.

She performed her new title song on MBC's "Music Core" on May 17 and received continuous support from her fans.

Hyosung made her debut along with superstar female artists G.NA and Jiyeon with the help of the same producing team, Duble Sidekick.

"The release dates of their albums were initially all different . . . It overlapped with the Sewol tragedy," stated Duble Sidekick's Park Jang Geun, according to Allkpop.

Despite being under the same producing team, the three girls released their albums under a different concept. Duble Sidekick had separate plans for Hyosung.

Park revealed that "sexy" was the keyword for Hyosung.

"The lyrics, 'Your goodnight kiss is so sweet. Sleep tight my baby,' in the title track 'Good-night Kiss' comes from the American lullaby, but since Hyosung is singing it, it sounds very sexy," said the producer.

Some have expressed that Hyosung didn't really surprise anyone with the images of her tomboyish, sexy teasers because that's the look that she had built up within SECRET.

This doesn't take away from the risks that Hyosung made while preparing for this album.

Hyosung has continuously thanked fans for their undying support. After her recent solo debut showcase, she made sure to tweet, "Thank you to everyone who came to my first solo debut showcase. Also those who wanted to come but couldn't because you live far away."
