Aaron Hernandez Murder Case [UPDATE]: Tight End’s Tattoos Key To Solving Killings? Prosecutor Seek Artists’ Help

Aaron Hernandez murder case investigation is now trying to focus on his tattoos and what possible evidence they can yield to pin him down to the death of two men in Boston in July 2012. Prosecutors are now trying to find the tattoo artists who inked him right after the crimes.

The Suffolk County district attorney said in a statement, per ESPN: "Boston Police and Suffolk prosecutors are seeking assistance from tattoo artists who may have inked Aaron Hernandez in the aftermath of the 2012 homicides of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado," the Suffolk County district attorney said in a statement.

There's another pending Aaron Hernandez murder case regarding the killing of Odin Lloyd near the tight end's house in North Attleboro, Mass. The victim was then dating the sister of his fiancée.

According to police investigation, Aaron Hernandez was driving his SUV and fired shots at de Abreu and Furtado, killing them in the process. The former New England Patriots tight end was also charged with with three counts of armed assault with intent to murder and one count of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, ESPN said.

According to Page Six, authorities are trying to find the tattoo artists who inked Aaron Hernandez's right forearm between February 2012 and June 2013. But they stopped short of describing what specific designs they are looking for.

"We're intentionally limiting our statements so as not to influence any potential observations by tattoo artists. We want unvarnished and unrehearsed information," said Jake Wark, a spokesman for Suffolk District Attorney Dan Conley.

Last month, Bristol DA C. Samuel Sutter on Friday elevated the charges to murder against Ernest Wallace, 42, and Carlos Ortiz, 28, in relation to Aaron Hernandez' murder case. The District Attorney's Office did not give any reason for the change, according to Boston Globe.
