CNBLUE Jung Yong Hwa Sings Korea National Anthem At U.S. L.A. Dodgers Stadium

CNBLUE member Jung Yong Hwa and Miss A's Suzy made an appearance at the Dodger Stadium in L.A. for the L.A. Dodgers V.S. Cincinnati Reds game.

Jung Yong Hwa sang the Korean national anthem at the stadium on May 28 for Korean Night, revealed FNC Entertainment.

The singer-songwriter sang the anthem right before the highly anticipated game.

"It was such an honor to sing at the game and I hope I sang as well as I practiced during rehearsal. I was so nervous, but I was very happy," stated the idol member.

Jung was invited to the Korea Night event along with players Ryu Kyun Jin and Park Chan Ho.

The leader of CNBLUE had already developed a relationship with baseball player Ryun Kyun Jin because he wrote and produced the athlete's theme song for this season.

The song, titled "Ryu Can Do It," is a rendition of CNBLUE's "One Time." The baseball player's anthem has different lyrics from the hit K-Pop song.

"Ryu Can Do It" comes on the speakers every time Ryu Hyun Jin enters the field at the L.A. Dodgers Stadium, according to StarN.

The song's melody was reportedly motivated by the Korean traditional folk song "Arirang," according to Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.

"I really love this song, and I always listen to this song everyday when I commute," stated the South Korean baseball player.

Jung Yong Hwa's career will be taking a turn in a different direction in the near future, as it was announced that the CNBLUE member will be going solo, according to SBS Australia.

FNC Entertainment made this announcement while CNBLUE was promoting their "Can't Stop" tour, which ended with their final concert in Daegu on May 24.

"As CNBLUE's 'Can't Stop' promotions comes to an end, I want to make an announcement here. We are in the middle of preparing a variety of projects for Jung Yong Hwa's self-produced solo album that is set to be released later this year," wrote FNC's CEO Han Sung Ho on their official website.
