After School Promises to “Punish Staff and Make Opportunity for Fan Communication”

After School's agency Pledis Entertainment promised to "punish staff and make opportunities for fan communication" to address the recent controversy involving communication with fan clubs.

Pledis, after their May 28 apology, once again posted a note of apology written by Director Jung Hae Chang on May 29.

Jung stated: "For the fans who have been hurt from the incident, I deeply apologize on behalf of the artists and staff of Pledis. I will take responsibility to address and fix the controversy that arose during the 'Idol Futsal World Cup'."

He added: "We will investigate and bring justice where needed. We will also conduct education for staff to prevent further problems and make opportunities for interaction and communication with fans."

He emphasized: "Not only we will hold a place for apology, but a space where opinions can be discussed with managers, marketing staff, and representatives. We will search for the best possible solution."

"I am aware that After School and Pledis do not exist without the love and support shown by fans. I apologize once again for the hurt that we've caused."

Meanwhile, After School's fans had visited the site of the "Idol Futsal World Cup" filming to cheer for the members of After School but have expressed discontent over the lack of communication from After School and the agency. Pledis apologized on May 28 regarding this matter.
