Pokemon Z [RUMOR]: German Backpacker In X And Y Kalos Region Foreshadows Expansion In Sequel Or DLC?

As Pokemon X and Y fans get excited over Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, rumors are still swirling over the alleged sequel for the Kalos generation.

Pokemon fans know that X and Y hold a lot of Easter Eggs hinting at the now confirmed Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire remakes. But, some fans also believe it holds still more hints at what a potential X and Y sequel might be-or rather, where.

"Ever notice the backpackers in Unova wore the colors of the French flag," posed HeavyMetalFairy on Pokejungle.

The Unova region is the home of Pokemon Black and White, as well as Black 2 and White 2. What HeavyMetalFairy is saying is that perhaps the backpackers in generation 5 are actually from Kalos, hence his attire is the color of the French flag (the country that inspired X and Y).

"Ever notice the backpackers in Kalos are wearing the colors of the German flag? Germany is to the east of France, where Couriway Train leads," added HeavyMetalFairy.

So, could the sequel for Pokemon X and Y (some believe it will be called Pokemon Z) introduce a new region east of Kalos, and be inspired by Germany?

In Pokemon X and Y, hackers have discovered additional content that remains to be unleashed, like Volcanion and Hoopa, or Mega Latias and Latios.

All this, plus interesting rumors like the backpackers one above, lead many to believe that Pokemon Z will be confirmed after Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Or, perhaps the sequel to Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and X and Y, will be one and the same.
