New "Scandal" season 4 spoilers reveal that Fitz and Mellie will be closer "than ever" after Jerry's death. Tony Goldwyn, who plays Fitz in ABC's "Scandal," recently sat down for an interview with Gold Derby, and revealed that Fitz and Mellie's relationship will change in season 4. Watch the video below!

"They're kind of more bonded than they've ever been in a funny way, but Olivia in their minds is an essential component in that," Goldwyn said about Fitz and Mellie's relationship in "Scandal" season 4. "They've transcended into some new place I think, not that they won't backside. I don't know what the hell Fitz is going to think when he finds out Olivia's disappeared."

As we previously reported, "Scandal" season 4 may shoot in Washington DC this year. The ABC series is filmed, shot, and produced in Los Angeles.

According to Councilman Vincent Orange, the producer of "Scandal" season 4 has been in contact with him about shooting some of the ABC show in D.C. this August, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Kerry Washington, the star of "Scandal," just gave birth to a baby girl so we wonder how she would feel about relocating from Los Angeles to Washington DC for season 4. However, it's also possible that the filming location is being considered for scenes not including Kerry Washington, such as for exterior shots or B-roll.

Meanwhile, Kerry Washington even teased to her Twitter fans about the arrival of her baby daughter!
