Singer Sangchu is currently in a relationship with a dentist.

One source revealed: "Sangchu is planning to marry his girlfriend of many years, a dentist, after discharge from the army". Another source stated: "The dentist is a graduate of Seoul National University and is very beautiful in appearance."

Previously on May 31, Sangchu had pleaded his innocence through his SNS, uploading a post ten pages long. He pleaded: "I swear that there was nothing illegal going on."

Sangchu also revealed the reason for his plea: "I cannot bear to see my loving family and the one that I hope to spend my future with in pain as if they were guilty."

He added: "I can bear the weight alone, but I decided to explain myself after seeing those around me struggling with the rumors and negative views. I don't think silence is the right choice - I know it sounds like an excuse, I will tell my story."

Meanwhile, Sangchu will be discharged from military service in August.
