"The Legend of Korra" Book 3 may not have a release date yet, but co-creator Michael DiMartino has confirmed that it is complete.
"Today we finished the final sound mix of Book 3 at Levels audio," wrote DiMartino on his Tumblr page. "Can’t believe we’ve finished an entire season’s worth of shows. We’re so proud of everyone who worked so hard to make Book 3 the best season of Korra yet!"

Sadly, despite "The Legend of Korra" Book 3 being complete, DiMartino does not have an update on when Nickelodeon will reveal the release date.
"I know you are all excited to watch—believe me, we’re excited to share it with you! I wish I could say I had some news about Korra’s release date, but I’m sorry to say I don’t."
In the photos posted by DiMartino, we get a glimpse of "The Legend of Korra" Book 3 finale. In particular, we see Mako and Bolin inside a cavern of some sort.
Some fans theorize that Nickelodeon has yet to announce anything because the network is planning to use the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con to announce big news regarding "The Legend of Korra" Book 3.
"Since Book 3 is complete, I'm going to stay with my prediction that Comic-Con will show an early screening of episode 1, which will be followed up by the two-episode premiere a week or two later," writes Keval on The Legend of Korra Online.
