Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart split rumors confirmed as the two have reportedly been estranged since a few months ago and not fueled by the leaked social media screenshots showing the choreographer "sexting" a transsexual.

A source close to the "American Idol" judge told Us Weekly: "It has actually been an amicable process that started a few months ago. It wasn't an easy decision, but they decided to stay friends."

The source who confirmed the Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart split rumors added that the 27-year-old was trying to start his own career and she's also focused on her own album and tour, and then there's the distance to speak of and that's why "they just couldn't be all about each other anymore."

In the past few days, Casper Smart was caught flirting with bikini model Sofia Vissa and another transsexual Xtrina Marie, a self-described Colombian and Brazilian model.

A report by TMZ added that when Casper Smart was texting the transsexual, he was no longer with Jennifer Lopez, 44.

"He has been a single guy and can text or see whoever he wants," the source toldTMZ.

"The idea that he was knowingly texting a transsexual is laughable." 

But E! News also confirmed the Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart split rumors claiming that the choreographer totally did not expect to receive a phone call from her rep saying that it's over, and the reason was him sexting with a transsexual.

"Whether there is any truth to what is being reported or not, it's irrelevant. Jennifer did not trust him," the source told E!

"The relationship had not been right for a while. Smart was never going to be the love of her life, but he was fun and a nice guy to be around. It stopped being fun once his friendships with other people started to come to light," the source added.
