Kendall And Kylie Jenner Book Reviews Reveal More Hate Than Love; ‘KUWTK’ Stars Put Brave Front During ‘Rebels: City Of Indira’ Promotion

Kendall and Kylie Jenner book reviews reveal more hate than love for the first-time authors as the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" stars put up a brave front during the "Rebels: City of Indira" book signing.

Sherryl Connelly of the New York Daily News  called the book a "ridiculous plot manipulation" which is "made possible only by the forces of terrible writing."

"Livia and Lex unite to rescue him [him being the hot guy who first caused their lives to collide]. As the novel mercifully comes to an end, Lex and Livia have joined the rebels, which is an unfortunate set up for a sequel," she wrote.

The Kendall and Kylie Jenner book reviews gear more toward the negative side as Amazon readers gave the "Rebels: City Of Indira" one out of five stars, with comments ranging from "insulting" to "laughable."

Brushing aside the negative Kendall and Kylie Jenner book reviews, the sisters had a book signing on June 4 at Bookends Bookstore in Ridgewood, New Jersey, reported HollywoodLife.

"Their writing may have been disappointing to critics, but their makeup looks were anything but!" said the gossip news site.

According to Yahoo News, "Rebels: City of Indira" follows the story of Livia and Lex, two orphans who live in the fictional city of Indira. Livia lives in a floating city while Lex live in an orphanage down below. Lex wants to become part of a special ops fighting the rebels while Livia is more concerned about her upcoming debut. Enters Kane who is also part of the special ops who is forced to kill Livia at the Emergence Ball.

Per Gawker, "Rebels: City of Indira" was ghostwritten by Maya Sloan as she admitted on "Good Morning America." However, she added that she received inputs from both Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

"We were thinking of an idea of what we would like to see in a movie," she said.
