Leessang member Gary is going solo, and his fans are loving it.

The rapper held his first solo fan meeting in Hong Kong on June 8 at a large shopping mall.

Many fans, both male and female, came to support Gary, filling up both the first and second levels of the mall. When Gary finally took the stage, numerous female fans were seen shouting his name and showing their support to him.

The Korean rapper made sure to give fans his undivided attention, taking group photos with fans and speaking Chinese to the crowd that was gathered to see him.

The arrival of Gary was beyond highly anticipated, as Gary was greeted by hundreds of local fans when he first arrived at the Hong Kong airport on June 7.

Gary caught the attention of fans in China with his duet song with singer Jungin, titled "People Scent," which ranked No. 1 on China's Weibo's search engine after its release. The song also hit the top spot in MBC's music program, "Show! Music Core," last week as well.

The 36-year-old rapper even played a little football with several fans, according to the publication English CRI.

Hong Kong actress, Dada Chan, also joined the meet and greet to welcome him on behalf of all the Hong Kong fans as well.

Gary initially gained popularity in Hong Kong for his appearance in the variety show "Running Man." The Korean entertainment show is as incredibly popular in Hong Kong as it is in South Korea.

"Since the schedule was really short this time, I couldn't visit many places. However, I've been to Hong Kong quite often and even when I was visiting for the show 'Running Man,' I was able to visit famous places in Hong Kong," stated Gary.

The rapper continued, "Although the schedule was short this time, I want to take more time for my next visit to look around Hong Kong again. Last time I came, I went to Soho and it was very nice."
