Group BTS Moves Up To Number 3 On Japan Oricon Single Chart

Idol group BTS is making their way up on the Oricon chart with their Japanese debut single.

The group first entered the Oricon charts at No. 6 with their debut single "No More Dream-Japanese Version" and was seen moving up to No 3 this past weekend.

K-Pop fans as well as fans of music in general have become interested in BTS' songs, according to Japanese media. BTS is making it a point to expand their fan base, by creating music that will target an audience beyond their current fans.

BTS has begun their official promotions and visited Japan after the release of their Japanese debut single to perform their hit songs.

The boy group held a mini concert that involved various events for their 20,000 fans on June 7 and 8.

The members will be going back and forth between Korea and Japan for the rest of June.

The hip-hop group has been making their mark in the music industry in Japan. They performed at Japan's Tokyo Dome City Hall on May 31 for their "BTS Japan Official Fan Meeting Vol. 1."

The demand from fans was so high that a 3PM concert was added to their original concert, which was scheduled for 7PM.

Both shows were reportedly completely sold out while 30 Japanese media outlets came out to the concerts.

The seven-member boy band, also known as the Bangtan Boys, have continuously added to their list of accomplishments, although they've only debuted a year ago.

BTS was invited to the "Moscow Korea Culture Festival," which is hosted by the Russian and Korean tourist departments. The group is scheduled to leave for Russia on June 13.

BTS has been chosen to represent Korea in the upcoming event as they're scheduled to stay in Moscow for 4 days as they perform.

The boys will also be attending the KCON 2014 event that will be held on August 9 and 10 in downtown Los Angeles.
