Google Nexus 10 vs iPad Air:

The iPad Air is the latest tablet that Apple has to offer. Just like its predecessor iPad 4, the new tablet carries a 9.7-inch display screen. The display has a resolution of a whopping 2048 by 1536p. It displays at 264 pixels-per-inch with an LED backlight on the LCD displays.

The iPad Air delivers a smoother performance thanks to its 64-bit A7 chip from Apple. Due to the fact that it is slimmer, the iPad Air obviously needed to have a smaller battery. This battery is 32.4Wh which gives the Apple tablet less battery but still decent.

When it comes to the build and design, it is a no brainer that the iPad Air takes the crown when compared to the Nexus 10 with its sleek and simple design seen throughout all the iPads since it was created. This tablet gets its name from the fact that it is only 7.5mm thick and 478g in weight. There is no other full-sized tablet in the market today that is this thin and powerful. It is very comfortable to hold for hours and you practically don't feel the added weight in your bag.

The iPad Air is available at 16GB, 32GB, 64GB or 128GB capacities.

Meanwhile, the Google Nexus 10 is said to be an even competitor of the iPads with its bigger 10-inch display screen that is packed with a 2560 x 1600 resolution screen that displays a 300 ppi display.

This iPad competitor boast a 16 to 32 GB internal storage and has a CPU of a Dual Core A15 and a GPU of Quad Core Mali T604. It runs on Android 4.4.2 and can stay longer and perform better with its 9000 mAh battery.

Wired magazine described the Nexus 10 saying, "The back panel is a grippy plastic that makes the Nexus 10 much better than previous Samsung tablets and even the iPad for one-handed use," while Engadget seals the Google Nexus 10 review with, "(the Nexus 10 has the) "most detailed and smoothest graphics we've seen," reports mostly-tech.com
