Monica Seles Engaged to Tom Golisano; Former Tennis Star Could Own the Buffalo Bills

Monica Seles is engaged and that engagement puts her in line to be a future owner of the Buffalo Buills.

Tom Golisano announced his engagement to Monica Seles. Golisano made the announcement during an appearance at an upstate New York high school. The 72-year-old owner of the Buffalo Bills the engagement to the 40-year-old tennis star during a visit to Bishop Kearney High School in Irondequoit, according to the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. Seles and Golisano have been dating since 2009.

Monica Seles is probably best known for being stabbed by a fan of the German tennis star and Seles' on-court rival Steffi Graf. In 1993, she was stabbed in the back by a spectator during a changeover at a tournament in Hamburg, Germany. Seles had to stop playing tennis for two years because of the attack. She retired in 2008.

In 1990, Seles became the youngest-ever French Open champion, at the age of 16. Seles won the U.S. Open winner twice, in 1991 and 1992. Her court style is marked by her two-handed swings. Monica was ranked Number 1 for more than 175 weeks. She was elected to the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2009. She won nine Grand Slam singles titles. She won eight before she turned 20.

The Inquisitr reported that football fans are worried that Donald Trump or Jon Bon Jovi may become the new Buffalo Bills owner and that Bon Jovi migh try to move the team to another city.
