Is the "Scandal" season 4 cast not allowed to talk about Kerry Washington and her baby? "Scandal" season 4 star Bellamy Young refused to talk about Kerry Washington and her baby daughter while at The Wrap's First Annual Emmy Party on June 5 in Los Angeles.

Us Weekly spoke to "Scandal" season 4 actress Bellamy Young, who plays First Lady Mellie Grant on the ABC show, and asked her about Kerry Washington and her newborn baby.

"We can't talk about Kerry on the carpet," Young said shortly.

When asked if Young was happy for Washington, who plays crisis manager Olivia Pope in the series, Young joked: "I am Switzerland of Kerry."

Sounds like the "Scandal" season 4 cast has their lips zipped when it comes to Kerry and her baby!

Though Kerry hasn't specifically spoken about the birth of her daughter, she teased her baby's arrival to her Twitter followers on Mother's Day.

"Well...I still wont talk about my personal life on here But...I see your tweets. And I am filled with gratitude! XO #HappyMothersDay," Kerry Washington wrote on Twitter on May 11.

"To ALL moms, all of you, of all kinds and in all ways... HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! Xo#HMD," Kerry Washington added.

Kerry Washington, 37, and husband Nnamdi Asomugha, 32, reportedly welcomed baby daughter Isabelle Amarachi on April 21 in Los Angeles - but the public had no idea!

Only Kerry Washington and her husband's closest family, friends and "Scandal" cast mates received a sweet alert to let them know of the baby's arrival.

"Isabelle is here," read the simple email the actress sent to friends and costars, People magazine reports.

As we previously reported, Washington is notoriously silent about her private life, which explains why no one knew she gave birth to her baby until a few weeks after Isabelle was born. Kerry and her husband and former NFL player, Nnamdi Asomugha, are also a very private couple together - they married in secret on June 24, 2013. Isabelle is their first child.
