M! Countdown has released a teaser video for Taeyang's comeback this week.

Big Bang member Taeyang is all the rage these days after releasing his second full-length studio album Rise earlier this month.

With the title track "Eyes, Nose, Lips" still settled nicely atop the music charts an a follow up music video for the track "1AM," Taeyang is proving his popularity among fans.

On Thursday, June 12, the R&B singer will make is long overdue comeback on Mnet's music performance program M! Countdown.

A 30-second preview teaser for the performance was uploaded to Mnet's official YouTube channel on June 11 KST.

"Our hearts are racing [for] another star," began the teaser's message. "Taeyang's comeback."

The teaser shows clips of Taeyang's music video for "Eyes, Nose, Lips" and suggests a heated showdown among idol on this Thursday's broadcast.

Taeyang released Rise on June 2 and has been making his rounds of the usual music show promotions.

His performance of "Stay With Me" on Sunday's episode of Inkigayo was a particularly impressive one as he was joined on stage by his friend and Big Bang group mate G-Dragon.

M! Countdown will air Taeyang's comeback to their program on Thursday, June 12 at 6pm KST.
