Baek Ji Young And 2PM Taecyeon Duet Performance At L.A. Korea Festival Receives Much Attention

Korean superstars Baek Ji Young and Taecyeon from 2PM performed their duet song, "My Ear's Candy" on April 12 at the L.A. Korea Festival. 

The talented pair performed in front of over 40,000 fans, along with K-Pop stars including 2PM, SHINee, CNBLUE, Girl's Day, Dynamic Duo, Lena Park and others.

Part 1 of the festival will air in Korea on KBS on June 15, while part 2 is set to air on June 22.

During the June 11 episode of MBC's "Radio Star," Baek Ji Young opened up about her experience collaborating with Taecyeon.

The 38-year-old singer revealed that when she heard the sample recording of "My Ear's Candy," she instantly liked the male voice in the demo. She stated that she found it familiar, and later realized that it was 2PM's Taecyeon, which is how the pair got to collaborate with each other.

Baek also revealed that she would like to collaborate with Zion. T in the near future, firmly stating, "There is somebody I want to work with right now."

The stunning singer made an appearance on the popular music program, "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" on May 30. Baek, also known as the OST queen, sang her hit song "Don't Forget" from the "IRIS" OST as well as her new digital single "Still In Love."

During her interview on the show, Baek shared how "encouraging" it was to make her recent comeback with bands such as g.o.d and Fly to the Sky, who also made their debut back in 1999, according to the publication Allkpop.

Baek, who got married to her actor husband Jung Suk Won in June 2013, shared the details of her wonderful married life.

"To be honest, [Jung Suk Won] has never washed rice in his life. But when I was very sick, he cooked rice and vegetables and made me rice porridge. I was really healed after eating that porridge," stated Baek.
