YG Entertainment stated that Psy's 2014 Brazil World Cup performance was Offered but not confirmed.

On June 13, a YG Entertainment rep stated, "Psy was invited to perform at a solo cheer concert for the Brazil World Cup. Nothing has been confirmed yet - we're still discussing details."

Previously, a media source n South Korea had reported that Psy will perform at a cheering event on June 18 during the Korea vs. Russia game.

Meanwhile, Psy's music video for "HANGOVER" was released on June 9 has currently exceeded 48 million views on YouTube. He also plans to release another new track titled "Daddy" in August.
