‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ Cast Rumors: 'Agents Of SHIELD' To Appear In The Sequel! Marvel TV Series Star BJ Britt Sighted In Set Photos! Avengers Takes Over SHIELD Task

The "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is full speed ahead on its filming, and director Joss Whedon tweets that he is almost halfway through the job.

Of course, a filming this grand would not escape the prying eyes of curious and excited fans everywhere. In the age of smartphones and social media, it is almost impossible to keep this one under wraps.

A new set of stage photos have emerged from various Instagram accounts. The photos are here.

Some of the interesting finds on these set photos are the pictures of the supposed "Avengers Recruits." This is an obvious after effect of the events in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" where the super hero team is no longer just a team, but it's now taken over the task of SHIELD as the world's security organization.

In the first "Avengers" movie, they didn't even have a name-and they just vowed to get together for 'special occasions.' But now, the Avengers even have their own headquarters-Stark Tower is now Avengers Tower, apparently, but that is not shown in this set of pictures. "Avengers Recruits" will be "Agents of SHIELD" which is logical because SHIELD does not exist.

Another logical offshoot would be the agents of SHIELD eventually working with, or even for the Avengers with Tony Stark as their boss. There have been rumors that Maria Hill (played by Cobie Smulders) will eventually join the organization but she is also not seen in the photos.

Screenrant also shared some of the details.

 "According to observers:

  • Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" star Anthony Mackie, and B.J. Britt (Agent Triplett from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) have all been spotted on set, in costume.
  • The Iron Patriot armor, known for its pivotal role in Iron Man 3, has been seen, but Don Cheadle was not.
  • A couple of blurry long shots of a group of costumed extras are said to be "Avengers Recruits."
  • A piece of set dressing appears to be part of Avengers Tower."

These interesting sneak peeks will see a different side of the Avengers now that they're not just a Shawarma Club for superheroes. Are they going to be more involved with each other's affairs now, which would mean that stand-alone franchises would have to check in with what's happening on the "Avengers" front? What about "Agents of SHIELD?" Will they change the name to "Avengers Recruits" and be accused of a shameless marketing ploy?

It only leads to more questions, don't they? The completed puzzle will be seen on May 1, 2015!
