Grigor Dimitrov got to save his face at this year's Queen's Club Aegon Championships after his embarrassing first-round knock out at the French Open. Grigor Dimitrov beat Spain's Feliciano Lopez in a thrilling three setter. His girlfriend and this year's Roland Garros champion Maria Sharapova was present to witness his victory. Grigor Dimitrov, like a good boyfriend, acknowledged his girlfriend Maria Sharapova for all her love and support. Looks like the fact that Grigor Dimitrov and Maria Sharapova are on steady grounds gave him mental stability to grit through the game. Does this mean that Grigor Dimitrov has the potential to go head to head with the all-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer at Wimbledon 2014?

Grigor Dimitrov wrote on his Instagram account, "Thanks for the support the whole week! Happy to join all the past champion that have won this prestigious event". The 23-year-old Bulgarian, often compared to head to head with Roger Federer, was beaming from his lose win at Aegon championships. Check out his picture with the giant champion's trophy:

Maria Sharapova watched Grigor Dimitrov's triumphant moment from the member's balcony. After the thrilling three setter, 6-7, 7-6, 7-6, she was all smiles to see her boyfriend get over his French Open slump to win back some dignity. She was so happy that she even agreed to take photos with her young fans.

Since he started to perform well at Aegon championships, Grigor Dimitrov and Maria Sharapova's relationship has gotten more public as well! Only recently did he come out with the fact that he lives with the French Open champion in Manhattan Beach. Grigor Dimitrov told Daily Mail, "Having Maria on my side definitely adds up. She is a tremendous champion and, so far, I have certainly learned a lot from her."
