2PM's Nichkhun Wants To Mature As An Actor In China As He Prepares For Upcoming Korean And Chinese Drama

2PM's Nichkhun attended the press conference for his upcoming Korean and Chinese drama titled, 'One and a Half Summer' on June 16th in Shanghai, China.

According to several Chinese news media on June 17th, the director stated that Nichkhun's upcoming drama is going to be much better than 'You Who Came From The Stars.'

Recently, Korean dramas have been gaining tremendous popularity in China and Korean stars are starting to look to the Chinese market to expand their horizons.

During the press conference, Nichkhun gave an hint that he would like to mature as an actor in China. Nichkhun said, "I debuted in Korea, but I want to develop in China. I wish people would think of me as a Chinese actor rather than a Korean celebrity. In addition, I am half Chinese."

Miss A's Jia is also going to be acting on Nichkhun's upcoming drama.

The drama will initiate airing on June 23rd!

On other news, Nickkhun and GOT7's BamBam got together to raise money for the needy Moken children in Thailand. Both teamed up with Flitto and Plan Korea. The aim of the project is to help the Moken children who live in poor conditions and lacks the opportunity to get a proper education. According to a press release from Flitto, the company's founder and CEO Simon Lee hopes to bring more people who speakmore than one language to Flitto to help out.
