"Scandal" season 4 spoilers are up and cast Kerry Washington wants the best for Olivia Pope as Bellamy Young's Mellie Grant may not be coming back for the series' season premiere.

Kerry Washington dished out plenty of "Scandal" season 4 spoilers in a chat with Gold Derby, particulalry whether she ends up with Jake or Fitz, as well as her personal wish for Olivia Pope.

"I don't know, I really don't know. I always I'm not Team Jake or Team Fitz I'm team Shonda [Rhymes] so whatever Shonda writes I'm game. But I also, I just want Olivia to be able to find happiness and peace and love," Kerry Washington said.

She said that the whole season 3 of "Scandal" was very very dark for Olivia Pope. Although she still loves her character, she really had to dig down deep when Olivia had to face her own parents and confront their dark history.

In season 3 of "Scandal," Olivia Pope found out that most of the evil that beset the country and Kerry Washington admitted that she was shocked when she read the script for the first time and fully understanding what kind of evil Olivia Pope's father can do.

"I feel like the season finale was definitely an episode that challenged Olivia, there were a lot of ups and downs in that one for sure," she added.

Meanwhile, Bellamy Young also revealed "Scandal" season 4 spoilers to TVLine on whether she will be back for the series' season premiere.

"No, because I don't know if we'll come back immediately [in time]. One year, we skipped 10 months in the middle, so I have no idea where we'll start back," she said. "But I can tell you that and as much as [the rape episode] "Everything's Coming Up Mellie" was a devastating table read, that script for our last episode of Season 3."
