According to the Korean Herald, a report was published on June 23rd regarding former EXO-M member Kris currently being in the Czech Republic.

The report states this is because he is participating in a film shooting for a Chinese film on June 24th.

According to Chinese media news reports, Kris is in Prague to participate in the Chinese rom-com "Somewhere Only We Know."  The film is being directed by Xu Jinglei.  

With news coming out regarding Kris initiating film shooting on June 24th, teaser photos have been released by the movie's production team, according to an article from US-based K-Pop blog Allkpop on June 23rd. The photos show Kris looking handsome while wearing a suit along with three other actors in Prague, Czech Republic. The movie is expected to premiere in theaters on Valentine's Day next year.

On May 15th, Kris demanded that his contract with SM Entertainment be nullified because of "unfair treatment" within the agency.

In mid-May, reports of a lawsuit filed by the former EXO-M leader against his label, SM Entertainment, spread through Korean and international news media. On June 12th, the Korean news publication Hangook Sports reported that Kris and SM Entertainment were ordered by the Seoul Central District Court to pursue out-of-court mediation with the goal of reaching a mutual agreement before the case goes to trial.

Last month, South Korea government-financed news agency, Yonhap, revealed what appeared to be a claim for Kris's official lawsuit against SM Entertainment.

The claim stated, "The company has treated me like a machine part or as an object of control rather than presenting a vision as an entertainer."

An official spokesperson for SM Entertainment then stated, "We are perplexed by the incident.  We will do our best to keep EXO's activities on track."

While Kris gets ready to shoot the film, he is also working with Chinese actress Fan Bingbing for the Chinese charity campaign "Heart Ali." The charity aims to aid children with heart disease in Tibet.

Actress Fan Bingbing posted on her Weibo account last Friday (June 20th), "I will never forget the innocent, pure eyes of the children when I first visited Ngari Prefecture [in Tibet]." She further wrote, "This year, Kris will also be participating in the charity. Being able to give children laughter and happiness alone is satisfying to us. Kris will be our second guest on 'Heart Ali' after Li Ka Shing. We will continue on and take on the show with a sincere heart even when things get tough."

While Kris pursues his solo activities, EXO is getting ready to do a concert in Chongqing, China on June 28th.
