On the 26th of June, TNmS, a corporation that record viewing rates for all TV shows, released that the KBS 2TV weekend drama 'Unexpected You' was ranked first place with the highest viewing rate from January 1st to June 24th with a record of 33.4%.

The drama that was ranked second was KBS 2TV drama 'Ojakyo Brothers' with 31.0%, then MBC drama 'The Moon that Embraces the Sun' with 30.0%.

Interet users who saw the ranking responded with comments like, 'It was expected. National drama Unexpected You', 'Congratulations on ranking first place', 'All the actors in Unexpected You are so attractive' and etc.

'Unexpected You' begins with a story about a career woman Cha Yun Hee (Kim Nam Joo) who marries a doctor named Bang Gwi Nam (Yu Jun Sang), who is perfect from the inside out. 

One of the major reasons Yun Hee thought Gwi Nam, who is an orphan, was perfect was because she didn't want to deal with the in-laws. However Yun Hee finds out that Gwi Nam actually does have a family and the family happens to be the owners of her house. Yun Hee begins to experience numerous mental shocks from dealing with Gwi Nam's sister-in-law to Gwi Nam's complicated past.

Gwi Nam, however, steps up his game and does everything in his power to make it all up to Yun Hee. His innocent and honest love has earned him the nicknames 'National Son-In-Law' and 'National Husband' for appearing like a hero in 'Unexpected You'
