Junjin, of legendary K-Pop boy band Shinhwa, is planning to make a solo comeback.

On June 24, it was revealed that Shinhwa member Junjin is working on a new solo album.

"Junjin is puttinghis all into preparing his new solo album," a representative from the singer's agency told News1. "Nothing has been set in stone regarding whether he will release it later this year or early next year.

But fans needn't worry about Junjin's album disrupting the schedule for Shinhwa's comeback later this year, "[Junjin] is preparing for his own album and Shinhwa's album simultaneously," his rep stated. "We will adjust his schedule so that [his solo comeback] won't overlap with his activities with Shinhwa."

The 33-year-old debuted in 1998 as a rapper in the first generation K-pop male idol group Shinhwa. After impressing fans with his singing voice in "Painfully Loving You," Junjin released his first solo single, "Love Doesn't Come," in November 2006.

Junjin's last solo release was in 2009 with the EP Fascination and the title track "Hey Ya."

Next month, Junjin plans to join his Shinhwa groupmates Minwoo and Hyesung for the 2014 The Young The Future concert in Chongqing, China.

Meanwhile, Shinhwa celebrated its 16^th anniversary recently with a three-day sold-out concert event in Seoul.
