"Pitch Perfect 2" movie cast news is here and Anna Kendrick was all too willing to share some updates as she posted a fun photo of the rehearsal with the Barden Bellas. The film is expected to provide employment to the state of Lousiana.

The photo showed "Pitch Perfect 2" movie cast Anna Kendrick hamming it up with the rest of the Barden Bellas such as Brittany Snow, Rebel Wilson, Hana Mae Lee, Kelley Jackle and newcomer Hailee Steinfeld.

In the image, per Us Weekly, the "Pitch Perfect 2" movie cast seems to be having a lot of fun as they couldn't contain their laughter.

She also captioned the photo: "Sunday's spontaneous late night rehearsal attempt," Kendrick captioned the candid shot. "Love these girls, hate physical activity. #GallowsHumor #ItllBeGreatOnTheDay."

The "Pitch Perfect 2" movie is providing employment to the state of Lousiana as around 250 crew members were on hand during the live performance shoot at the BREC park on Highland Road on Friday, said WBRZ news.

There were also around 3,000 movie extras who formed part of the crowd for the final scene of "Pitch Perfect 2" moovie, and shooting is "valued at a couple hundred thousand dollars," the website added.

"We've brought a lot of folks in to help us," said Scott Niemeyer, the executive producer of the movie.

Meanwhile, in another "Pitch Perfect 2" movie cast news, Pentatonix might appear in the film at some point, said Zap2it.

Scott Hoying, a member of the band, posted a photo of a director's chair with the movie's logo. "A few hours later, the group's official Facebook posted a photo of the whole group on set. Could they be filming roles in the film? Will they play a rival singing group or themselves?" the website wondered.

"Pitch Perfect 2" is set to open nationwide on May 15, 2015.
