‘Bones’ Season 10 Spoilers: Will David Boreanaz’s Agent Booth Survive His Ordeal? Executive Producer Says Series To Depart From Usual Serial Killer Story Line

"Bones" season 10 spoilers are up and questions about David Boreanaz's Agent Booth surviving his ordeal should be at the top of fans' minds. Executive producer Stephen Nathan explains rationale why series will depart from the usual serial killer story line.

Stephen Nathan dished out some "Bones" season 10 spoilers to TVGuide as he said that the conspiracy theory route is more logical compared to the serial killer plotline.

"The pain of their separation as well as the uncertainty of how this is going to play out is really how we wanted to leave the audience because it does a few things for us," he said. "It confirms this relationship which everybody has invested in and it solidifies that even more."

He dished more "Bones" season 10 spoilers saying that it will begin with a lot of baggage, "but with the determination of Brennan and Booth and the squints to draw this very painful and ugly chapter to a close."

Earlier, Emily Deschanel revealed in an interview with E! News: "I don't want to say it's a conspiracy theory -- because it may not be a theory. There really may be conspiracies happening against Booth and Brennan and then possibly everyone at the Jeffersonian."

She dished out some "Bones" season 10 spoilers by saying that the next chapter will offer "a lot of changes for our characters."

Stephen Nathan said that by dealing with the conspiracy theory rather than the serial killer plot, "We wanted Booth and Brennan and the audience hanging in sort of a rage of uncertainty" because they have always been able to trust the FBI.

"We wanted to try and take the show in another direction, at least temporarily, to have Booth and Brennan take on some force that is far larger, far more vague than anything they've dealt with before," the showrunner added.

"We caught the Ghost Killer, but there's still a ghost out there, some kind of adversary that still remains unseen and unidentifiable at the end of this season," he explained.

"Bones" Season 10 will air this fall at 8 p.m. Thursdays on Fox.
