YG Entertainment made a huge announcement recently regarding their artists.

The entertainment company revealed that they would be holding their "YG Family 2014 Galaxy Tour: Power in Shanghai" concert on August 30.

The agency stated that Shanghai would be the base of its future overseas operations, engaging other Chinese cities and Southeast Asian countries, according to the Korea Herald. The agency reportedly did not disclose further dates or plans regarding this statement.

Top YG artists, including Big Bang, Psy, 2NE1 and Epik High will be attending the concert.

WINNER, the agency's first boy group in eight years, will also be attending the highly anticipated concert.

YG Entertainment collaborated with Samsung for the upcoming concert tour and will hold special events during their tour in China, Myanmar, Vietnam and more.

The YG Family finished their concert tour in Japan in April. YG artists will be meeting with Korean fans on August 15 for the "AIA Real Life Now Festival."

Artists signed under YG Entertainment have been making headlines in the entertainment industry, both in Korea and internationally.

One notable group that has become a sensation in South Korea and the States is 2NE1.

The girl group held a surprise fan meeting at the YG Entertainment building located in Hapjeong-dong, Seoul on June 20 as well.

Selected fans were given a tour of YG Entertainment's recording studio, fitness room and were even able to eat at the YG cafeteria, according to Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.

2NE1's most recent album "Crush" was spotted on FUSE's Top 25 Albums of 2014. The group has been featured on Billboard for their impeccable fashion sense and creativity in their music videos.

The group was also featured on Nylon's music issue as well.

Other than 2NE1, Psy, as we all know, has been making global headlines since the release of "Gangnam Style." His recent track "Hangover" has gotten over 80million views on YouTube, only two weeks since its release.
