"The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers are here and showrunner promised a more action packed new series as Simon Baker and Robin Tunney continue to solve mystery amid their budding relationship.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bruno Heller dished out some "The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers: "It's much faster paced, more thrilling, more action, more surprises. We'll still be delivering those mysteries every week. But just as you see with the last episode of the season, there's no more tracking and more chasing."

Karl Sonnenberg (who plays CBI Karl) also dished out some "The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers when he wrote on his Twitter: "‏Some principal shooting the middle of July. The full crew starts the 1st week of August. Writers are working."

Bruno Heller still hasn't provided any "The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers, but he toldThe Hollywood Reporter that they aim to provide closure to the Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) and Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney) romance.

With the death of Red John, Heller said, there's no more excuse for the two of them "to decide where that relationship was going."

"The purpose of an encore is to get people leaving the theater happy and giving them what they want and hitting your marks as strong as possible, so that will be the intention," Heller told THR.

Robin Tunney, in an interview with TV Guide, explained her character's mindset when she did decide to go with Agent Pike.

"There's somebody who's sort of declaring themselves, and I think there's something really flattering about that," she said. "That's there on the table and it's real ... I've been inviting Jane to declare himself and he hasn't."

In the season 6 finale, Patrick Jane finally professed his love for Teresa Lisbon before he was herded away. That confession is the only thing that Teresa wanted in order to turn down Agent Pike's invitation to live with him in Washington D.C.
