HyunA is ready to heat up the summer! The sexy 4Minute member has announced her plans to make a solo comeback next month.

HyunA is perhaps the most recognizable member of K-Pop girl group 4Minute. She's equal parts cover girl and sex icon and has made a huge splash in the Korean music industry not only for her work with 4Minute, but also as a soloist and as half of sultry pop duo Troublemaker.

In a statement to Joy News 24, Cube Entertainment, the agency that represents HyunA, said, "It is true that HyunA will release her solo album this July." The label also added, "The [release] date and details have not been confirmed yet."

Another report by Sports Seoul had a Cube rep suggest the album will likely drop in the second half of the month.

"This is an album [HyunA] has been preparing for a long time," added the rep. "She's put a lot of effort into her dancing, songs, and visuals."

It has also been reported that HyunA will be the subject of an upcoming reality show that documents the process behind her return as a solo artist.

HyunA originally debuted in the K-Pop scene as a member of JYP Entertainment's now disbanded Wonder Girls in 2007. However, a few months later, she dropped out of the group due to her parents' growing concerns about her health and well being.

The following year, HyunA signed with Cube Entertainment and in 2009 debuted for the second time as a member of 4Minute.

Her first solo venture came in 2010 with the release of her first single, "Change," featuring label-mate Junhyung of the K-Pop boy band BEAST. HyunA's single "Bubble Pop," released in 2011, became her break out solo hit and currently has over 74 million views on YouTube.

Later that year, HyunA teamed up with BEAST's Hyunseung to form Troublemaker, a dance-pop duo notable for their risque videos and choreography.

Most recently, HyunA performed at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas.
